Cracked probably isn’t the most scientific sites but I like this funny account of four things people want to believe.

In other words, stories people WANT to live by, true or not.

And if people want to live by them, it is an opportunity for marketers to “prop” them with products, services or make them happen by creating experiences that make those stories feel real.
