I’ve always been disappointed with how far school has fallen behind other media in engaging and teaching kids.
How can blackboards, an adult speaking and a little computer time compete with video games, 3D movies and home surround sound theaters?
I don’t know exactly what school this is but no kid will leave this class not remembering their lessons about dinosaurs.
Nothing beats the feeling that something is real (even if the content is otherworldly). As marketers we have to recognize that media is becoming more sensual, intimate (watch the faces of the kids in the video) and real.
Those who seek out and leverage scalable real-feeling media experiences will be even closer to getting the engagement they wish.
